Will my hubbys OTH discharge from the Navy affect me?

about 7 or 8 years ago my hubby went AWOL during the last 6 months of his tour due to the stress of financial problems. (went crazy with his money and too credit card happy and developed 10,000 in debt which was too much for a 22 year old to handle at the time) I am 20 now about to join the Navy just waiting to take my NAPT to go nuke but Im wondering if his past will come back to haunt ME. He hasnt been in any trouble since and i have a perfectly clean record no arrests, no traffic/speeding tickets, NOTHING. What do you think?
