Why do Americans like to compare Pearl Harbor with Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

Your comparisons are not a valid questions, The Japanese people were spared an invasion which would have killed millions of civilians and cost more American lives. However much you try to demonize the destruction of the two cities the fact is it saved lives on both sides. The United States was able to defeat the Iraqi army with an invasion which save civilian lives. Japan and the United States were more evenly match in WW2 than Iraq and the USA. To say more people should have been killed??? If you can win a war without killing people then you have really won.
